MORE INFO:
RESIDENCY - Somewhere between an art gallery and a nightclub, RESIDENCY combines visual art, live music and an artisan drinks menu for a 3 day warehouse pop-up bar at this year's Melbourne Music Week. This is the side project of Sharon Custers (co-director of Shebeen) in collaboration with Melissa Loughnan of Utopian Slumps Gallery. The space will be transformed by Australian visual artist Thomas Jeppe as the artist-in-residence. A formalisation of "classic club" and social structures, Jeppe's interiors will present a minimal, dance-oriented zone of physical transcendence.
