Meanwhile, elsewhere in the venue, leather & fetish enthusiasts will be selling their pre-loved gear to those seeking a bargain entry point to the lifestyle, or enthusiasts looking to add to their collection.
And of course, it wouldn't be a Laird event without a BBQ, to be hosted by the team at JOY 94.9 - come and see if they can sizzle off-air as well as they do on!
In the spirit of the original Laird Auction which was produced by VAC/GMHC volunteers, and Slave Market produced by No Attitude Guys, we present an auction with a twist. There will be three auction blocks from 4:00pm followed by our final performance at 8.30pm. Each auction block will kick off with a fetish inspired performance, followed by an auction of kindly donated items from our gay & gay friendly business mates. There'll be items valued from a few bucks to over a grand. A full auction item listing will be published on this page by Friday 31st August, so you'll have plenty of time to plan your purchase! Hosted by none other than the wonderful Tex McKenzie with a great line-up of celebrity auctioneers.

LEATHER & FETISH MARKET
Get together with some mates, sort through your quality used leather & fetish gear & set-up shop. We'll provide stall areas (tables and/or racks) at a reasonable rate, or simply donate any quality used items* at the Laird in the lead up to the event. All proceeds will be benefiting the David Williams Fund and JOY 94.9. Sell or swap your wares knowing you're supporting our community at the same time. So dig out your pre-loved gear & let it live another life. The team from Vic Leather will be on hand to assist with advice, while Melbourne's very own leather-legend Laurie Lane (Leather World) assisting with fittings & alteration advice.
To donate items or to book your stall, send us an email at email@example.com
*'Insertables' (e.g. dildo's, plugs, vibrators) cannot be sold in the market.
Doors open 3pm-11pm. Gold coin entry. Women welcome.
18+ only. Photo ID may be required.
